Sample pack licence

For using sounds from a ZAWA sample pack in your own music.

  • Use the sounds in your own music, in any media, with no royalties owed to us.
  • You may not resell or share the samples, alone or in another pack.
  • The licence is for the one person or company that bought it.
  • Do not train AI on the samples.
  • If a claim appears on your music, send your licence ID and we release it.

1. Grant

When you have paid, ZAWA grants the purchaser a non-exclusive, perpetual, worldwide licence to use the sounds in the sample pack in new music and productions of its own, in any media, without royalties to ZAWA.

2. Who may use it

The licence belongs to the one individual or company named on the certificate. Your own employees and contractors may use the sounds inside your productions. You may not give or sell the pack to someone else. Teams that need several users should ask for a team licence.

3. What is not allowed

Selling, sharing, sublicensing or redistributing the samples as samples, loops, one-shots, presets or stems, alone or in any other pack, library, instrument or plug-in.,Using the samples to train, fine-tune or test an AI or machine-learning model.,Registering the samples on their own in Content ID or any fingerprinting system, or claiming them as your own.,Releasing a track that is only the samples with no meaningful new music added.

4. Claims on your music

Some of our sounds also appear on tracks that ZAWA has released, so an automatic system may flag your music. Your licence certificate is your proof. Send us your licence ID and the claim details and we ask for the claim to be released. See Content ID and claims.

5. Custom stems and loops

Custom stems, bespoke loops or parts cut from a track are quoted separately and come with their own written terms.

6. Other terms

The Terms of Sale apply to this licence, including limits on liability, indemnity, breach and termination, governing law and the rules on what is never allowed.
